Who does wedding speech first, second, third and so on at the ceremony?

There’s something grand about a wedding. There are several players that will go through the motions of this solution, and you’ll find that you can go through a great deal of emotions throughout. There’s no “one” way to work through a ceremony, as you can work through a variety of different solutions. As you look at formulating a plan for a wedding, you’ll find that there are a few things that you should note. For instance, when will people speak? When does wedding speech candidates go? Where do you want them to fit into the ceremony? Well, that’s something that can be difficult to manage if you don’t pre-plan. With that in mind, take a note in regard to how you can schedule your speeches throughout.

The Best Man

Perhaps one of the best options that you can consider first is having the best man go first. The best man will talk about the groom, and how he’s a great friend to have and more. This is a great opening start to the speeches, if you’re going to have more than one person discussing things during a wedding. The best man can be a great person to start, but you can also switch to the second person if you’d like.

The Maid of Honor

For the bride, the maid of honor is a great secondary person during a wedding. That means that you can have her give a speech right after the best man. The maid of honor is a great option to have speaking first or second during the ceremony. Since the maid of honor will have a unique dress, and will be right there by the side of the bride, it just makes sense to have her go first or second. This is interchangeable with the best man, mind you.

Parents of the Wedding Party

You can select one parent from each party to say a speech. Or you could go with one person from either side of the wedding party. You’ll find that this is a solution that is very well worth exploring on a deeper level. It’s something that you’ll want to have third and fourth if you’re going to go with both parents. Whatever the case may be, you’ll want to make sure that the parents are given free platform to discuss the wedding party, the wedding, and hopes for the future.

Shaking Things Up

Overall, you may want to look into several different options in regard to wedding speeches. You don’t need to go with one option over the others. You could very well shake things up and have speeches that are mixed up, and go on throughout the day. You could go with a reception solution, or you could have someone speak as everyone is seated, etc. There’s just so many options that you can consider here, so don’t rush it, and don’t panic. Focus on building the schedule based on who you want to speak, and the importance that they have during the wedding ceremony etc.
